Fuller talks Fiddleheads with Calais Advertiser

David Fuller spoked with The Calais Advertiser about harvesting fiddleheads as the upcoming season for the perennial approaches. “The best time to harvest is when the ferns have just emerged and the stem is from two to four inches long along with the unfurled fiddlehead,” said Fuller, an agriculture and non-timber forest products professional with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
