WABI talks with Strout about nursing students administering COVID-19 vaccines

Kelley Strout, associate professor and director of the University of Maine School of Nursing, talked with WABI (Channel 5) about UMaine students administering COVID-19 vaccines. “We’re planning to deploy 108 senior nursing students who have already gone through our laboratory courses and had laboratory training on IM injection,” Strout said, noting that many of the students have already administered vaccines. WMTW (Channel 8 in Portland) shared the WABI story.
