‘The Maine Question’: How does interdisciplinary research make a positive difference?

The world needs help. And University of Maine researchers from diverse disciplines collaborate to address the complex needs of society. Stakeholders are key, too. When they’re involved from the start, they help develop effective, insightful solutions.

In this episode of “The Maine Question,” host Ron Lisnet talks with David Hart and Linda Silka from the Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Sustainability Solutions about results-driven research.

Hart, who directs the center, is a professor of biology and ecology. Silka, a Senior Fellow, is trained as a social and community psychologist and focuses on building community-university research partnerships.
