BDN publishes guest column from Mason
The Bangor Daily News published a guest column from Mitch Mason, an associate extension professor with University of Maine Cooperative Extension, titled “Refugee and asylum seekers in Maine are future volunteers.” Mason, a 4-H Youth and Family Development extension educator, is a member of the Maine chapter of the national Scholars Strategy Network, which brings together scholars across the country to address public challenges and their policy implications. Members’ columns appear in the BDN every other week.
