The Ticket promotes Woodsmen’s meet at Witter on Feb. 29
92.9 The Ticket radio station advanced the Woodsmen Team’s meet from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29 at Witter Farm. Team president Alexandra Karter invites the public to watch the traditional timber sports — including sawing, chopping, ax-throwing and chainsaw events. Teams from Colby, Unity and Dartmouth colleges and the University of New Hampshire are expected to compete.
