Turner Publishing, Morning Ag Clips advance Extension dairy forage conference
Turner Publishing and Morning Ag Clips advanced the annual University of Maine Cooperative Extension dairy forage conference, which will be held 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at Governor’s Restaurant in Waterville. The focus will be managing diets with forages grown and harvested in challenging conditions and potential health concerns for livestock. Additional topics include growing industrial hemp in Maine, corn silage variety trial data, solar farm leases and the potential for ergot contamination in feeds from wetter growing conditions, the articles state.
