Former FBI cyber official to talk about threats, challenges Nov. 25

James Burrell, former deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Cyber Division, will discuss “Cybersecurity and Cyber Terrorism: Real Threats and Challenges” at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25 in Hauck Auditorium.  

The Maine Business School at the University of Maine is hosting the free, public talk by Burrell, who retired in 2016 from the FBI. 

Burrell, who founded a cyber technology research firm, maintains advisory affiliations with governmental, nongovernmental, and other organizations, including the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
