Penobscot Bay Pilot and Republican Journal reported the public is invited to attend a free research and career symposium 5–7 p.m. July 12 at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center in Belfast. The event will feature a keynote address by Kristina Cammen, an assistant professor of marine mammal science in UMaine’s School of Marine Sciences.
