New UMaine Extension dean to talk May 20 in Lisbon Falls

Hannah Carter, the new dean of University of Maine Cooperative Extension, will be the keynote speaker at the Androscoggin-Sagadahoc Counties Extension Association’s (ASCEA) annual meeting at 6 p.m. May 20 at the Extension office in Lisbon Falls.

Election of ASCEA officers also will be held. The association is recruiting new members. In partnership with UMaine Extension staff, members of each county Extension association give input on educational programming needs and oversee county budget appropriations that support Extension educational programs for county residents.
