Healthy High to be held April 27, roads closed during race

The 12th annual Healthy High 5k, 10k and 15k races and 1-mile fun run/walk will be held 9 a.m.–1 p.m. April 27 on the University of Maine campus.

More than 1,000 runners, walkers, volunteers and spectators are expected to take part in the race that begins and ends at the New Balance Student Recreation Center.

Those driving on campus during the race must use caution.

The following roads will be closed 6 a.m.–1 p.m.:

  • Rangeley Road to Park Street (Bangor Savings entrance)
  • Hilltop Road, including the Rec Center, Tennis Court and IMRC parking areas
  • Long Road entrance at College Avenue (next to the Alfond Arena)

UMaine community members are encouraged to make arrangements to avoid traffic delays.
