Associated Press reports Lobster Institute will host annual meeting
The Associated Press reported the University of Maine Lobster Institute is hosting the 15th annual Canadian/U.S. Lobstermen’s Town Meeting on April 5 and 6 at the Westin Portland Harborview Hotel in Portland. Fishermen in both countries harvest the same species, commonly called the “American lobster” or “Maine lobster,” according to AP. The event alternates between Canada and the U.S., drawing lobstermen, dealers, processors, scientists and others.
