Media preview UMaine Extension bee workshop

The Associated Press, Turner Publishing and Morning Ag Clips previewed a University of Maine Cooperative Extension workshop, “Native Bees: Habitats, Threats, and Citizen Science,” from 1–2 p.m. Feb. 13 at the UMaine Extension Oxford County Office in South Paris. Kalyn Bickerman-Martens, a Ph.D. candidate in ecology and environmental sciences at UMaine, will discuss Maine’s native bees; bumblebee species and threats; and the Maine Bumble Bee Atlas, a citizen science project; the articles state.
