Grad student’s art featured in Deep Sea News, Edge Effects
Artwork by Jill Pelto, a graduate student in the School of Earth and Climate Sciences at the University of Maine, was recently featured in Deep Sea News. Pelto was included in “The Writing on the Sea-Wall” series which seeks to highlight the skilled artisans and projects that help connect people to science through tangible and impacting messages, according to the article. Pelto, who incorporates climate change data into watercolors, also wrote about her work for Edge Effects.
