UMaine receives award for excellence in student voter engagement

The University of Maine received the bronze seal from the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge for Excellence in Student Voter Engagement for the 2016 election.

A bronze seal is given to institutions with a student voting rate between 50 and 59 percent.

The ALL IN Challenge is a national awards program recognizing colleges and universities committed to helping students to be active and informed citizens, making democratic participation a core campus value, and increasing student voting rates.
