The University of Maine’s Homecoming 2017 will be celebrated with several events on campus Friday through Sunday, Oct. 13–15.
Homecoming will kick off Friday afternoon with campus and building tours, as well as the 2017 Cohen Lecture on “Assessing the First Year of an Unconventional Presidency” at 2:30 p.m. in the Collins Center for the Arts.
Women’s ice hockey will take on Robert Morris University at 7 p.m. Friday at Alfond Arena.
Saturday will be highlighted by a Homecoming Open House beginning at 9 a.m. and UMaine football vs. Rhode Island at 3:30 p.m. A dedication and opening of the Spenciner Family Undergraduate Workspace will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Bennett Hall, Room 215.
The day will end with a Silver Duo concert in Minsky Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. and an 8 p.m. performance by comedian Bob Marley at the CCA.
The annual UMaine Alumni Association Craft Fair and Maine Marketplace will be held in the New Balance Field House, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Sunday.
Various reunions and socials also will be held throughout the weekend.
