UMaine Police Department offering reward for information

The Division of Student Life and the UMaine Police Department are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) involved in the vandalism of 12 vehicles parked in the Hilltop lot on campus April 11–12.

A routine UMaine PD patrol at 8 a.m. April 12 found 12 student vehicles parked in the Hilltop lot had been vandalized overnight. The vandalism involved spray painted words and images, some sexually explicit.

The vehicles were all parked in the same area near the wood line.

Damage estimates are not yet available.
