New dual-degree program for College of Liberal Arts and Sciences majors
This fall, bachelor of arts students in any College of Liberal Arts and Sciences major will be eligible to enroll in a five-year MBA program in the Maine Business School.
Previously, some departments in the college had MBA agreements. Now, UMaine offers a dual-degree program with the Maine Business School and two colleges — Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Engineering.
In the five-year program, students can receive their bachelor’s degrees in their majors, and an MBA.
Students in UMaine’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences can earn bachelor’s degrees in any of over 20 fields in the arts, humanities, social sciences, computer science, and physical or mathematical sciences. Graduate degrees are available in many of these fields.
