Professor emeritus Owen writes op-ed for BDN on proposed North Woods park
Bucky Owen, a professor emeritus of wildlife ecology at the University of Maine, wrote the opinion piece, “I used to oppose a big park in the North Woods. Now, I see a national monument can work,” for the Bangor Daily News. Owen also is a former commissioner of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
