Daily Telegraph cites Garder’s study in article on roundabouts

The Daily Telegraph in Australia mentioned a study by Per Garder, a civil engineering professor at the University of Maine, in an article about how older drivers react to roundabouts. Garder’s two-year study found drivers over 70 years old took 3.95 seconds, on average, to negotiate a roundabout, according to the article. The only drivers who took longer to enter the intersections were inexperienced drivers under 20 at 4.85 seconds, the study found.
