Six athletes to be inducted into UMaine Sports Hall of Fame, media report

The Bangor Daily News reported six former Black Bear standouts will be inducted in the 2016 class of the University of Maine Sports Hall of Fame. Inductees are quarterback Jake Eaton, baseball player Andy Hartung, field hockey star Margaret Henrick, wrestling figure and journalist Bob McPhee, track and field standout Johanna Riley and soccer player Edward “Ted” Woodbrey Jr., who will be inducted posthumously, according to the BDN. The group will be honored during a banquet and awards ceremony Sept. 30. Sun Journal, WABI (Channel 5) and WVII (Channel 7) also reported on the inductees.
