Thomas Hill Standpipe light, projection show rescheduled

Due to predicted rain, “FLOW: An evening of water themed light & projection” at the Thomas Hill Standpipe in Bangor originally slated for May 4 has been rescheduled for May 11.

The multimedia event — a partnership among the Coaction Lab at the University of Maine, Intermedia MFA program at UMaine, and Bangor Water District — will take place during the annual spring tour of the standpipe.

Faculty and students in the Intermedia MFA and New Media programs will project onto the structure light, images and videos inspired by the building’s history and function.

Tours will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the projections beginning at dusk.
