The Maine Public Broadcasting Network reported about 250 participants have already signed up for the University of Maine’s inaugural full and half marathon this summer. Race organizer Lauri Sidelko said they’re hoping to attract more than 1,000 runners to the Black Bear Marathon on June 21.
