Abedi to Chair Conference on Wireless Communication in Extreme Environments

Ali Abedi, an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Maine, will chair the International Conference on Wireless for Space and Extreme Environments Nov. 7–9 in Baltimore, Md. The challenges related to radio frequency and wireless sensing and communication in space and other extreme environments will be the focus of the conference. Investigators from space agencies such as NASA, the Canadian Space Agency and the European Space Agency, along with industry and academic researchers, will take part in the event.
