The University of Maine will hold a Clean Sweep Furniture Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 in York Commons on Square Road. Items for sale include furniture, such as dressers, couches and chairs that are being replaced in the residence halls.
