UMaine accounting professor Steve Colburn was interviewed by several media outlets for articles about methodology political candidates used when releasing their tax filings. In an Associated Press report that appeared on the Boston Globe website, Colburn said presidential candidate Mitt Romney came close to meeting the standard set in the textbook used by UMaine students.
