Franco-American Centre Research in Newspaper Story

Tony Brinkley, a UMaine English professor and senior faculty associate of UMaine’s Franco-American Centre, was part of a study that found Franco-Americans earn less, have less education and are younger than their non-Franco counterparts in Maine, according to a story in the Bangor Daily News. Brinkley and a colleague from Bowdoin College conducted a survey of 600 Franco-Americans in Maine and presented the poll data this week at the State House in Augusta.
