Wayne Astbury, 1940-2012
Wayne Astbury, an accountant in the University of Maine’s Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, passed away on July 1, according to a Bangor Daily News obituary. Astbury had been a UMaine employee for 42 years and was elected a member of the National Association of Accountants in 1968. A celebration of his life will be held 4 p.m. July 29 at South Blue Hill Central Hall.
