Karen G. Cole, an instructional equipment distribution clerk in Information Technologies at UMaine since 2003, died recently after battling pulmonary fibrosis, according to her obituary in the Bangor Daily News. She was born March 30, 1956, in Bangor, the daughter of Juanita Leland Ryan and Richard Ryan. Cole leaves behind two daughters, Caroline and Faith;
