Story Focuses on International Students on Basketball Team
Several members of the UMaine men’s basketball team were interviewed for a Bangor Daily News report on the international student-athletes playing for the Black Bears this year. Coach Ted Woodward’s team includes a contingent of four from Europe, two Canadians and one Israeli, which means international players make up 47 percent of UMaine’s 15-man roster this season.
