UMaine Musicians Lauded in CD Review

The international classical music website “criticaclassica” has posted a laudatory review of a recently released world premiere CD of music from Holocaust-era Italian composer Leone Sinigaglia, recorded by pianist and UMaine associate professor of music Philip Silver, cellist Noreen Silver, also a member of the UMaine music faculty, and Ukrainian violinist Solomia Soroka, violin professor at Goshen College in Indiana. Released by Toccata Classics in London, the CD “shines in all its glory” thanks to the trio of the Silvers and Soroka, according to the English translation of the Italian-language review.
