Cooperative Extension, Sea Grant in Beach Safety Story
The weekly newspaper Village Soup noted the work of UMaine Cooperative Extension and the UMaine-based Maine Sea Grant in a story about the
cleanliness and safety of Maine’s beaches. Cooperative Extension and Sea Grant support staff help in monitoring water quality and protecting public health at Maine’s 61 public access beaches, which comprise more than 30 miles of coastline.
