A Waterville Sentinel article about an organic farmer from Skowhegan had a mention of UMaine’s Cooperative Extension services. Sarah Smith of Grassland Farm in Skowhegan, who is going to speak to members of Congress later this week about organic farming issues, said organic farmers in Maine are fortunate to have the support of the various UMaine cooperative extension offices.
