Water Festival Coverage
WABI had a story about the Children’s Water Festival, a daylong event hosted by UMaine’s Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Environmental and Watershed Research which seeks to introduce water issues to schoolchildren. More than 700 students in grades 4-6 had a chance to touch ocean critters, participate in a trivia game about water, and try on puffin costumes.
