Aaron Weiskittel, director of the University of Maine’s Center for Research on Sustainable Forests, was interviewed by the Telegraph Journal Maine’s forest products industry. Weiskittel said the state has gone through a painful period with the closure of pulp mills and loss of workforce, but noted that there is strategic work happening to seize opportunities in the sector.
