University of Maine Honors College senior Eddie Nachamie has been featured in Spectrum News Maine, Seacoast Online, FOX Bangor and The Eagle-Tribune for his research showing how Maine leads the nation in regulating PFAS (forever chemicals) and for tracking the state’s evolving PFAS policy in real time. “We have more legislation on the books than anyone else right now,” said Nachamie. “There’s been the most robust response in Maine out of any other state. Some states aren’t even regulating PFAS beyond what federal laws mandate.”
