The rules for the derby are going to be:\n-Teams will be 2-3 people\n-Teams are allowed to fish any time between the hours of 11 and 4.\n-Fish score sheet will be posted below for teams to see which fish are worth the most points\n-Teams can choose which body of water they would like to fish that is within a 25-mile radius of Newman. (Map will be posted later)\n-If a team would like to use a boat then they may rent one from Maine bound or use their own.\n-All fish must have a picture. No picture then no points!\n-Honor system is in effect for fish that deduct points\nGeneral info:\n-Teams will be assigned the day before so we can match up experienced fishers with non experienced. So please fill out the poll at the bottom.\n-If you need to borrow gear (first come first serve) or would like suggestions of where to go please DM me.\n-Everyone will need a fishing license. DESCRIPTION:A free meal for students to gather\, eat\, and build community and friendship. Please invite a friend—or several—all are welcome! \nThis event is hosted by the Campus Ministry program known as Black Bear Catholic at the Newman Center/Our Lady of Wisdom\, a church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland\, Maine. (It is NOT hosted by the student government organization Black Bear Catholic). All protocols and procedures as mandated by the Governor/State of Maine/CDC AND the University of Maine will be adhered to\, with no exceptions. Masks and social distancing of 6 feet between people are required. All food will be served outside\, in lidded\, ready-to-go containers\, and eaten either outside or taken to-go. In the case of inclement weather\, our building will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis with a maximum capacity of people in our building based upon square footage. Once that capacity has been reached\, all food MUST be taken to-go. We thank you for your understanding as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic safely for all!
