The Navy ROTC Program was established to develop midshipmen mentally, morally and physically and to imbue them with the highest ideals of duty, and loyalty, and with the core values of honor, courage and commitment in order to commission college graduates as naval officers who possess a basic professional background, are motivated toward careers in the naval service, and have a potential for future development in mind and character so as to assume the highest responsibilities of command, citizenship and government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every contribution plays a vital role in sustaining our programs and enabling talented Midshipmen to pursue their dreams of serving the United States Navy and Marine Corps. Your support directly impacts the lives of future officers and the strength of our nation’s armed forces. Donation can be made through the UMaineFoundation<\/a> to the Naval ROTC fund. All National Scholarship recipients receive full room and board* at the University of Maine, in addition to tuition, books, stipend, and fee payments.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
