- « “The Breaking Spears: A Culture at Crossroads with Modernity” is a book discussion by the author Paul Kunonis. Paul is a graduate student at the School of Policy and International Affairs studying Global Policy. Paul is a native of Kenya from the Massai tribe. His book highlights his experiences growing up in rural Kenya, his tribe’s rites of passage, and the introduction of formal education in his village and country as a whole. Where: COE Room. Time: 2:00-3:00pm. This event is free and open to the public
