He is the faculty advisor to the Maine Law Review and serves on the Board of Directors of\u00a0 the Maine Bar Foundation. Owen\u2019s current research interests include dam removals and\u00a0 hydropower management, Endangered Species Act implementation, groundwater\u00a0 regulation, and legal responses to the water quality impacts of urbanization.
