Mitchell Center Senior Fellow Linda Silka<\/strong><\/a> will be on a panel for the workshop \u201cStrengthening the impact of your Arctic research\u201d<\/strong><\/a> on Friday, February 28, 12 \u2013 1:30 pm. in the Bangor Room of Memorial Union.<\/p>\n

The University of Maine has many programs that involve collaboration with researchers, as well as broad expertise on how to develop research-education-outreach partnerships. The panel will focus on existing UMaine programs and the characteristics of successful partnerships, and the emphasis within large funding agencies such as NASA and the National Science Foundation on \u201cBroader Impacts.” Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend with ideas for discussion about what UMaine does, and can do, to foster activity in support of broader research outcomes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
