Mitchell Center is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a position as a Communications Assistant. This is a part-time (20-hr\/week) temporary hourly position that will serve to facilitate the communications activities of the Mitchell Center. <strong>This temporary position is anticipated to last 6 months and pays $15 to $20\/hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with supplemental writing\/editing assignments<\/li>\n<li>Design, edit, and distribute the Mitchell Center\u2019s e-newsletter<\/li>\n<li>Provide on-going updates and maintenance for the Mitchell Center website<\/li>\n<li>Post events, news, and other relevant items to the Mitchell Center\u2019s Facebook page<\/li>\n<li>Assist with event marketing to internal and external constituents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Search Timeline is as follows:<\/u><br \/>\nReview of applications to begin: March 1, 2023<br \/>\nInterviews to begin no earlier than: March 15, 2023<br \/>\nTentative start date: April 1, 2023<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.hiretouch.com\/job-details?jobID=79903&amp;job=temporary-communications-assistant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply or for additional information.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Communications Assistant The Senator George J.
