Silka Op-Ed in BDN – ‘Citizen science’ can help address some of our most pressing problems

The article discusses the terms “citizen science” and “community science” and the reference to important emerging practices in science whereby people immersed in a topic and researchers who study the topic come together. This approach can increase our capacity to study a topic and make the research more relevant.
