On January 20, Darren Ranco presented an online talk on “Wabanaki Climate Justice and Adaptation” in an event sponsored by the Maine Humanities Council and hosted by the Biddeford Cultural and Heritage Center. Ranco is a citizen of the Penobscot Nation and associate professor in the Department of Anthropology and the Mitchell Center at UMaine. He also chairs the Native American Studies program and coordinates Native American research.
