Media promote talk on moving to a circular food system

Morning Ag Clips, the Bangor Daily News and the Portland Press Herald promoted a talk by UMaine faculty Jean MacRae and Cynthia Isenhour on Feb. 22. MacRae, an associate professor of civil and environmental engineering, and Isenhour, an associate professor of anthropology, discussed a recent study focused on building a safe, circular and sustainable food system. Centralmaine.com shared the Press Herald story.

The talk, “Making Our Food System More Circular: Less Waste, but Is It Safe?” is part of the Mitchell Center’s spring Sustainability Talks series. A recording of the talk is available here.
