Sara Kelemen on E2Tech climate and equity panel, Nov. 17

On November 17 the Environmental & Energy Technology Council of Maine (E2Tech) will host a Zoom webinar on equity in Maine’s energy future. Sara Kelemen will represent the Mitchell Center as a member of a panel of regional and national practitioners and experts. Sara, a UMaine graduate student, worked with Mitchell Center colleagues Linda Silka and David Hart on an equity assessment of the Maine Climate Council’s proposed action plans.

The webinar, Will Maine’s Energy Future be an Equitable Future?, will focus on the current state of energy policies in Maine and equity and inclusion at every level of the system–from  the Maine Climate Council to community action.
