Cindy Isenhour talks about waste management work on Maine Calling

Maine Public’s call-in radio show, Maine Calling, focused on waste management challenges and the “zero waste” movement on March 2. The program featured Cindy Isenhour, Mitchell Center faculty fellow and Associate Professor of Anthropology at UMaine. Isenhour is a member of the Mitchell Center’s Materials Management Team. She is currently working on the project, Rethinking Reuse and Resilience in Depleted Rural America”.

Also on the program are Sarah Nichols of the Natural Resources Council of Maine and Claire Weinberg, co-owner of seaweed skincare and body products company Dulse and Rugosa and author of the blog “Zero Waste Journey” on the Bangor Daily News.
