Adam Daigneault, Mitchell Center faculty fellow and Assistant Research Professor with the School of Forest Resources, presented at the second meeting of the Maine Climate Council on January 29 in Augusta. Daigneault’s presentation on “Forest Ecosystems, Forestry, and Biodiversity” represented work with partners at the Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, Maine Audubon Society, and other UMaine researchers and faculty. His presentation outlined priority needs and made recommendations for research, monitoring, and adaptation strategies.
