Opening

Currently, Dr. Yang is actively looking for two more Ph.D. students. The main research project will be fabrication of 2D materials, mechanical behaviors of nanomaterials, and application of nanomaterials in energy harvest and storage, such as hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), carbon dioxide reduction, and supercapacitors. The student would have opportunity to perform visiting research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Idaho National Laboratory. Those having a master degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or materials science and engineering are preferred. The start date can be either Summer 2022 or Fall 2022.
