Independent/freelance production

The Division of Marketing and Communications will work with companies or other groups who are creating their own productions at UMaine facilities within the following guidelines:

• The production company must have general liability coverage
• The production company must obtain signed release forms from any UMaine staff or students taking part in the production
• The production company must obtain signed release forms from the parents or guardians of any minors associated with the production

The Division of Marketing and Communications must see the finished piece before distribution to ensure that the university is portrayed accurately and in a manner consistent with UMaine quality and brand standards.

Access to campus and to UMaine staff or students to be used in the production must be coordinated through the Division of Marketing and Communications.
