The Maine Writing Project Annual Conference: The Pen is Mightier: Teaching and Writing for Change
The Maine Writing Project is soliciting conference proposals for our upcoming fall event. The event will take place on Friday, November 8, 2019, 8:00am – 4:00pm at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast, Maine.
We are particularly looking for presentation proposals that will engage teacher audiences in ways that will help them and their students write for change. If you have a session idea, we invite you to submit. The MWP is looking for proposals that are clear and thoughtful in identifying ways for audience members to participate actively and interact with presenters and each other, not just listen to presenters reading papers.
